DLPOA Board of Director’s Meeting
May 11, 2004
Meeting called to order at 7:46 PM at the Main Park.
Members Present: Julie Magill, Marty Bopp, Diane Hallinen, Carol Van Spybrook, Karol Grove, Janet Houston, Jim Debbrecht, Rich Paajanen, Sarah Schemanske, and Carol Schemanske. Civic Committee Members Present: Dave Geen, Carol Van Spybrook, Mick Bell.
President’s Report: No report
Vice President’s Report: No report
Secretary Report: Minutes read by Diane Hallinen. Minutes amended and approved.
Treasurer’s Report: There is $42,622.19 in the bank. Carol’s report was amended and approved.
Call to Public: No report
Civic Committee: Mick Bell printed up the Bylaws. Each member of the Civic Committee and Board will get a copy. It is expected that member will pass them on when they retire.
A meeting was held May 3, 2004 with members of the Civic Committee and some Board members. Long term plans were discussed, including removal of fallen wood. It is anticipated that this will be a multiyear project. The budget will not come out of the Greenbelt budget. Accessory Building Policy was discussed. Details will be included in the Dunham Laker. Bylaws were updated. Insurance coverage was discussed. The policies will probably be left in place, with some possible increasing of coverage. The Encroachment Abatement Procedure and Fine Policies were approved.
Dunham Laker: Dave Geen has been getting advertisements for the Dunham Laker. Articles are due by May 17, 2004.
Greenbelt: The encroachment report was presented. A permit was granted for removal of fallen wood blocking a path. The adoption program is going well. $370 worth of plants were planted.
