Greenbelt
Report to LRP April 2005
On April 9, 2005 members of the
community, Civic Committee/ LRP
committee and Board completed an assessment of the greenbelt. The
objective of the walk was to determine which areas of the Greenbelt
require fuel reduction. The guidelines were to remove brush less
than 2 years old, branches less than 3 inches in diameter and some
fallen pines. The walkers recognized the importance of snags, and
the value of brush piles for habitat.
The zones of concentration for this report include the red zone, and the tan/aqua zones.
